UK, Germany and France dominate European online advertising spend

Around about two thirds of online advertising spend in 2007 was accounted for by Germany, France and the UK reports the Interactive Advertising Bureau in their report of online advertising and marketing spend for 2007. The surge of 40% year on year growth in European online advertising is seeing Europe catching up on our North American cousins – their online advertising was a pedestrian 26% in the same period.

AN unbelievable rate of change around the world – next step? Well maybe a slow down or maybe a push to Search Engine Optimisation to cut costs- who knows?
